Raised across 3 continents I was mesmerized by my fathers Yashica TL ElectroX 35mm camera and watching that image transform in the dark room was love at first sight! Studied Photographic Practical & Theory UNL ,then motion picture found me. I joined the South African commercial film production industry and worked up the ranks from Loader to 1st AC ultimately to be rewarded with the privilege of DOP. Honored to be working for years with amazing talented artists all over our tiny world, doing what I know best, shooting. Sharing the honor of accolades from D&AD to CANNES. Wonderful times, worth it all for the sincere and enduring friendships created!!
